Wow, it's been one hectic summer for me. I hope everyone else is having a much more relaxing summer than I am.
I was so very when told me I was featured in RDNA's Image of the Week newsletter. I hadn't even looked at the last three newsletters still sitting in my inbox... This image is the one featured.
Wow, this is quite the encouragement I needed to keep going I was really starting to get burned out seriously there for a bit.

Not much happening here Hope everyone has a safe weekend and lock your doors!! Nah, have fun, seriously It's Halloween! Happy Halloween, all!
Remember that willow tree I said that got blown over by Hurricane Ike? Well, it's STILL ALIVE!! It's laying flat on it's side, still green and shooting out new growth...that things over twelve feet tall. . .err, long. Well, we're going to try to cut a tall stump with some of it's live limbs still attached and try to pull it back in place, hopefully without damaging the roots again.
No fancy CSS at the moment. Just got my electricity back on less than thirty minutes ago and am trying to delete 600 something emails LOL. I'll try to catch up when I can. As for what happened during the hurricane...lots and lots of trees were said to be downed like it never has before in this area for over 25 years. For us, three trees fell down on our ten acres. One fell on the roof and did minor damage (punctured the roof in five different places) so we hope to have it fixed before it rains. One tree fell and did no damage to anything. The third tree was my beloved weeping willow, totally uprooted and fell right in front of my eyes. I was standing on the porch next to my dad when we watched it fall and I was like "Where is the willow?" and my dad said "It fell" and I said "NO!!!" I know I saw the willow fall but I still can't believe it fell! It didn't damage anything, thankfully.
Four days without electricity!!!! I tell you one thing, most of us were NOT prepared for this. I've been through alot of hurricanes and tropical storms and this was the worst I'd been through. Anyway I'm back and all my family, friends, and dogs are all safe
Skye just delivered EIGHT puppies on DA's EIGHTH BDay and not only that, these pups were born on their great grandmother's birthday. Solitaire (Great Grandmother) was my very first blue German Shepherd I've ever had. All the pups are black or black&tan. No blues in this litter unless there's a ninth one hiding in there LOL. Ah, been such a long time since I had such a huge litter to look after. Wish me luck!
I'll come back and add some features later after I've caught up on my sleep.

Hi all, thank you so much for your prayers, comments and well wishes. My cousin's daughter is doing well, she came out of the surgery just fine. She is heavily sedated right now so here's hoping she won't be in too much pain as she recovers.
